Moe hpde event day information

Prior to the event

  • Download both the WAIVER and TECH SHEET for the event from our DOWNLOADS page and print them. MAKE SURE YOU DATE THE WAIVER TOP RIGHT! Both forms are per-event, and will be available 7 days before each event.
  • Complete both sheets and bring them with you to registration at the track.
  • Be sure to completely fill out all forms, check boxes, date, etc. Ensure you have the correct track and date top left of waiver.
  • Tech is "Self tech", there is no need to take your car to a shop. See tech form for the items you should inspect.
  • Garage Rentals are through NJMP directly, call (856)327-8000 
  • MoE HPDE Standard, 4-Pack, & Season Pass members will get VIP Suites at NJMP (above the Thunderbolt Garages) for $99 per night. CONTACT US if you don't have the discount code. You must be a MoE HPDE member to get this rate. Call (856)327-8000 to book.
  • The best non-member hotel rate will be the Holiday Inn  in Millville. Tell them you are going to NJMP for the track rate. CLICK HERE

Arriving at the track

  • Arrive early, tech/reg opens at 7:15 AM.
  • If you are only doing OPEN TRACK 4-6 PM arrive by 3 PM
  • Make sure you have a mask!
  • Sign the track's waiver at the gate, bring your own pen and hand sanitizer.
  • Setup in the paddock far enough apart to properly social distance.
  • Paddock is open to drop trailers after 7PM the night before the event.
  • If you are camping, or need power, a hotel at the track, a garage, etc. Tell them at the front gate. All services are purchased from NJMP there. Call  (856)327-8000  for details on purchasing services at the track.
  • Guests are allowed, they must sign the waiver at the gate.

Registration

  • Once setup in the paddock, check in at registration for your wristband. Bring your completed TECH SHEET and WAIVER.
  • AFTER getting your wristband, bring your car to tech for inspection.
  • Have your number on the car, and the car cleaned out before getting in the tech line.
  • Drivers meeting will be at 8:15 outside or in the garage, maintain a 6' distance from other participants. You may remain in your car and listen on 105.5 FM  if you like.
  • OPEN TRACK driver's meeting will be 3:30 PM.
  • Schedule will be announced in the drivers meeting.
  • The Driver's Meeting is mandatory!

During the event

  • Maintain social distancing at all times. Wear your mask whenever inside
  • First group starts at 9AM.
  • No passengers on track.
  • Novice group will be lead follow, with off-track instruction for those who opted.
  • Finish Line Pub will be open Sunday night until 8PM for outside dining, takeout, or curbside, you must order using the TOAST app:  https://www.toasttakeout.com/ 
  • There will be no food services open at the track on Monday. You can get takeout from "The Old Oar House" or "Seasons Pizza".
  • Fuel pumps & General store will open at 8:30 AM

  • The schedule will change throughout the day, we will keep it updated at the above link. The schedule is not up to date until AFTER the driver's meeting.

HOW DO I CANCEL? - CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cannot make an event you registered for, you are free to sell your spot to another qualified student. We will not sell the spot for you, or get involved in any way if there was no insurance purchased. No refunds will be given, no exceptions. Cancellation Insurance (CI) is available for $30 per day. This will allow you to take a 50% credit for guests, or a 90% credit for members minus the CI fee and any late registration fee if you need to cancel. CI cancellations must be emailed to moe@moehpde.com or made in person by 9AM the morning of the event. CI must be purchased at the time of registration. Purchasing CI will also allow you to take a credit for mechanical failures. Mechanical failure before the START of the SECOND session gets a 50% credit, no credits will be given after the SECOND session starts. CI does not cover failures related to wear items such as Tires, Brake Pads, Rotors, OR impacts with walls, other cars, or any off-track incident. Mechanical failures must be personally inspected by Moe, or an authorized club representative to be approved. Mechanical claims made after you leave the event will not be honored. For those paying cash, a credit card hold will be placed for the full amount at the time of registration in order to hold your spot. No call/No shows will not be refunded or credited for any reason. There can be no exception to any of the above policies. If you are unsure if you can make an event, do not drive in the rain, or are worried about mechanicals, buy Cancellation Insurance!
